Scroll Down To Meet Busby, Boomer, and Hank!
Busby would make a great activity partner
(jogging, water, obedience, or agility). This
drop dead gorgeous young man is molding
into a wonderful adult dog. "Buzz" has a
very solid disposition, and has become very
wise for his young age.
Busby is an 11 month old, neutered, 70
pound, Lab, shepherd, husky mix.
Busby is house broken, crate trained, rides
well in the car, is very gentle on the leash,
and is learning basic obedience commands.
This young man is a super sweet friendly
guy, that knows no stranger, and meets new
people with a wagging tail and lots of kisses.
Busby loves water and swimming, so would
make a good lake, beach, or boat buddy.
Busby has developed great dog skills, and
is great with all dogs (to include dogs, not so
great with other dogs). Busby loves to romp
and play with other dogs his size, and would
make a great second dog. Buzz has been
exposed to children ages two years and up,
and has passed all those challenging
situations (being poked in the eye, bones
being grabbed from his mouth, getting his
tail pulled, and being crawled on) with flying
colors!
Busby is very sound in temperament and
would make a wonderful family dog, but is
still a bit bouncy, so is best suited for
children 8 and up.
Busby is looking for a home with a securely
fenced yard. Perhaps another dog to play
with. A family with or without children, or a
single person.
Busby is a Washington Humane Society dog, in foster
care. To learn more about The Washington Humane
Society, and/or to see other available WHS dogs, please

Boomer, the other dog in some of the pictures is
Busby's new best friend. Boomer is also available for
adoption.
MEET BOOMER
Boomer is a 7 month old, 45 pound, neutered, lab hound mix. This great little guy was dropped at the pound because his
owners new girlfriend didn't like dogs. Boomer is house broken, crate trained, and rides well in the car. Boomer is NOT
your typical hound, as he is very eager (obedience and house manners wise) to please and will even come when called!
This happy little guy, loves playing in water, and is great with other dogs. Boomer is great with people of all ages. Boomer
is looking for a home with hopefully another dog friendly dog, and or active children (8 and up). Boomer is a fence
climber, so can go to a home without a fenced yard; as long as walks and frequent visits to the dog park are scheduled. If
you have a fenced yard, boomer would need constant supervision while outside in the yard.
Meet Hank!
Australian Kelpie
Neutered male
4 year old,
36 pounds and full grown
Good with dogs
Not good with cats
Good with Children
Is your TV broken? Need some entertainment? Look no further, Hank
would love to provide live entertainment! This little firecracker is a
super friendly young man that has come to the natural conclusion
that he is the best thing since sliced bread. Everyone that knows him
tends to agree! Hank is a fun loving happy little guy, who can find
games and entertainment out of everything in life. The “Young King”
has great dog social skills, is well mannered in the house, and rides
very well it the car. “His Royal Bratness” as he is fondly known as, is
a very confident dog and is packed full of pep and personality.
Hank is an obedient dog and eager to please, but with a twist.. His
twist on pleasing human commands is to let them hear about his
willingness to comply, and to find a fun way to accommodate the
command. Hank would make a wonderful second dog (great dog
skills), but would prefer to be the one and only King in the house.
Hank would do well in a home with or without a fenced yard, as long
as he had daily visits to a fenced dog park to romp and play with his
own kind. Hank is great with people of all ages, to include young
children, but does require more attention than the normal dog. So,
would prefer a home without young children. Are you game? Hank is!

Hank thinks that picture taking, or should we
say, not getting his picture taken is a great
game!
